The strory line:
The "fiction inspired from facts" traces the story of Monica Jaitley (Divya Dutta), whose ambitions get the better of her. She has had a tormented life as a child as she was sexually abused while watching QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK in a Lucknow theatre. Leaving her horrid past behind, she falls in love with journalist Raj Jaitley (Rajit Kapoor). They get married but don't live happily ever after. She becomes a journalist herself and this creates a rift between them. She can go to any extent for power, even if it involves making compromises. She finds herself torn between politician Chandrakant Pandit (Ashutosh Rana), broker Sandeep Mishra (Dadhi Pandey) and industrialist Pamela Garewal (Kitu Gidwani).
